master cylinder

Need new master cylinder for my nc30 track bike, its a standard set up at present and i only want to replace the master cylinder keeping the rest standard for now as funds are short. What would yas recommend??

Get a normal 14mm Nissin master cylinder. Doesn't have to be off an nc30, could be 92-7 Fireblade or one of any number of more modern Jap sports bikes.
Modern radial master cylinders won't work well with the original setup, you'd need to fit bigger calipers (approx 30/32 + 34mm pistons, e.g. CBR900 00-03) to make use of the bigger bore, otherwise it will be wooden and give zero feedback.

I use a Nissin MC off an R6 feels much better than standard. i think the years are 98 - 2002. you can get one off flebay for about £20

Well, i guess it's one of those things i thought it was going to be better so it felt like it was. Or perhaps i had a poorly working set up before.
