Theres a guy on here with the NC24 engine in an NC30. I've spoken to a few people about this in Japan and they have all said it is easier to tune the NC24 engine but I haven't seen any figures yet.
They are both NC13E engines and both produced 59ps when new but are quite different the way they work.
The NC24 engine fires 180 degrees so you would need all the wiring loom and extra coils if you wanted to use this engine.
The NC24 engine has 10mm spark plugs not the usual 8mm NC30 jobbies so there cheaper.
The cases are all pretty much interchangeable but the cams/pistons/crankshafts etc are all different due to the different firing order.
The valve train also has locknut adjusted tappets so no need to keep buying shims. Oh and an oil-cooler as standard.
Bolt on parts would be:
Engine covers, sump, oil pump (if you wanted to oil cooler mod your block), water pump.
So not much in terms of mechnical parts.
