Paint shrapnel.

I believe on the painting of my fuel tank bits of paint have gone inside and how clogging up my poor nc30!
The bike is fine stationary, but when any throttle is added makes the engine sound horrible past 4k Revs and when riding has no pull ( only testing the bike up and down the road when i first discovered this )

My solution to this was only to track down the lines hoping to clean it all out!

Fuel tap has been removed and cleaned, the lines leading to the carbs have been cleaned, i tried removing the carbs earlier but had some troubles.
I am unable to detach the hoses underneath the carbs.

First of all, am i on the right lines or going about this wrong?
Secondly any tips to removing the carbs?

Thanks

Keir

Have you loosened off the jubilee clips holding the carb rubbers? Once you've done that put something under the carbs like a piece of wood and use it as leverage to lift it off.
If you're certain that paint has managed to get into the tank then it's more than likely blocked up the carbs.

Thats what i cant seem to get off, its in a real awkward place to get to.

I drained the carbs but nothing came out but the petrol of course ( the screw is in a mighty awkward position aswell )
