NC30's on ebay

Not sure if you guys have checked ebay recently for NC30's but they're all so expensive/overpriced on there. Some hitting nearly £3k

. I suppose most are dealership classified ads but where am I meant to find a project bike?!
I'm hoping its not the over inflated prices of the dealerships and it's because our bikes are increasing in value.

overinflated however as with the 250 strokers, it causes a bit of a panic effect and before you know it upwards they go.
however i will say i have no doubt that good original clean 400's will sell like hot cakes and values will climb. with the large number of knackered bikes ready to be broken it may delay that climb for a year or so.
dealers sell a large amount of stock to the euro market, the pounds knackered here so even at these inflated prices they are cheap to elsewhere abroad.
my own gut feel is as i have said, good original examples are going to change hands for big money in years to come regardless of model with very few exceptions. just because you might not like standard bikes, you would be foolhardy to assume that todays aftermarket parts will still be in fashion and sought after in say 5 years to come.
if you "upgrade" the looks of your 400 then for common sense sake, keep all the OE parts so you can return it to standard if you ever want to sell it for maximum value.

Hi all,
I'm fairly new to this forum but I've been searching for a NC30/35 on fleabay every since selling my 749 and of you watch them and not bid most never sell. I've seen loads with zero bids and then they reappear at the same price a couple of days later...feels like a bit of speculation rather than genuine sales to me.

Good stuff. I hope you're right Paul. I'd be very happy with getting what I paid for the bike if the time ever comes to sell it. Every time I think about what my next bike would be I have a good ride on the 30 and think I don't need anything else so may never sell it!
Here's a plan. Everyone put an ad up for their 30 at an extortionate price. That'll increase the value of it in no time.

completely agree, although I have the tyga kit on mine, the original NC30 fairings are almost timeless! The only reason I bought mine is because it was dead cheap for the cost of all the extras on it. I'm on the look out for some original fairings as i didn't get them with it though to try and keep the value high when it comes to sell
