I'd still be inclined to go with the chemical treatment, 2 years is a long time and you can always do it again or find another in the meantime.

Round the seam in about 5 places,

And I found another hole near the tap mounting plate but it's all sealed now with Leak Fix (plastic padding stuff)

I might as well go for the por15 sealing stuff too, just in case it does'nt work.

I'm not sure if this will help, but the NC21 tank will fit if you can find one!

there was a 21 tank on ebay last week or the week before, musta finished now as i can't find it. i'd keep your eye on ebay over the next week, if it didn't sell it'll probably be relisted.

MCA breakers in Darwin, Blackburn will have one.
He's a good bloke who runs a nc24 himself.

MCA are cool i've brought stuff off them a few times.. they can be a little more expensive on parts that some competitors but they only sell decent gear.
