Spitting fuel

Story goes,
Bike, wouldn't start in the mornings... Full choke, no throttle. Consequently, the battery died from me bump starting it, but the draining it again every morning while cranking.
So I decided to pull the carbies out, while I replaced the battery, to check everything, do valve clearance's, replace the plugs, and check my float heights.
Everything was stock, so I decided to put 112's all round, new pilot jets, softer diaphragm springs, the earth kit all supplied from RO. Very nice bit of kit I might add.
Also my idle screw's at 2 turns and I put new plugs in.
Put the bike back together over a very extended period of time and finally got to starting it, only for it to rev it's head off! Full choke, no throttle, it started like a dream... only to sit and idle at 4000 rpm with the choke back in, and the idle adjuster completely out!
I thought there was an air leak, I sprayed it with brake cleaner while it was running, and no change in revs
I pulled the spark plugs out, cranked it over and cylinder no.3 *right hand side close to the rider* is spitting fuel (and a shit load of it) well past a meter!!!
Any ideas?
Any help would be well appreciated!!
