Hi,
Do these "ram air" ducts on my nc35 actually do anything at all?
I was looking through posts and alot say theyre just cosmetic but theres a few comments
here and there saying they feed abit of cool air to the engine...

I ask because im thinking of puttying/sealing them off on my bike, but I wont if they actually do something

Also wasnt sure wether to post this in graphics/bodywork or workshop but as it may affect the engine performance I chose here

This old chestnut again They might just add a little bit of cool air into the engine bay but i seriously doubt it makes any difference at all. Ive run 35's with and without the tubes and not noticed a bit of difference. You can fit a 30 tank if you want to get rid of the tubes.

Why get rid of them? They look cool.

That they do, but most race bikes with aftermarket fairings can't fit them.
