Attached it pictures of my current situation. A before photo for your enjoyment :-) Paint came off fine, but dents not so pretty. I was thinking plastech, which has recently become my best friend, but I'm not so sure it will work on metal.. In addtion, does anyone know where I can get another one of these small honda badges from as this is also dented?

Think you've answered your own question mate. Have a look at a Motorists Dscount Centre and get some of that Isopon metal filler, can't remember the brand name. Bit of paint on the top and bob's your uncle.
Don't know about a badge, maybe David Silvers

Yer.. But I'm on a super tight budget at the moment as i'm only a stoodent. I start work in August, so hope to get it to a stage for the winter I can do a proper rebuild but at the moment I just want to ride it! Out of curiosity, if I were to get it powdercoated in the future, would I have to refill it again?

youll struggle to be able to powder coat where the filler is unless its metal, as the powder coat works by statically attaching to the metal if theres no metal to attach youll get a dodgy finish there.
