cheers  most of the bodywork sorted, forks are done, just leaves carbs, electrics and paint to do. still trying to track down the sidelight live wire, found it in the loom from the switch but no sign of it exiting anywhere to goto the light???
One more quicky does anyone know wether the uk spec bandit or bandit with flat bars have longer throttle and clutch cables than the import or one with clip ons?

cheers

If you need slightly longer you could go bandit6, the UK B4 should be longer but im not 100%. I just take my old cable into the local spares shop and get them to hold a couple of cables against the old one.

Thought it was about time i updated this bit lol. Well after the paint shop royally screwed the paint job up twice, i ended up spraying it myself. Should have done it myself in the first place and saved months of hassle!! hey ho. Anyway, barring fitting a new starter motor which packed up on tuesday all thats left now is the graphics
I've made a stone chip protector up for the front of the bellypan (similar resin to the stuff used for tank pads) and all the graphics will be raised with resin too. I'll get a pic of the belly pan up tomorrow so you can see what you think? it'll be a bugger to polish with all the raised graphics but should look nice

Before I even bought my bike, this always inspired me. Don't really have money or other transport to try something out like this :(

Where did you get the belly pan, is it a straight fit and can I have some up close pics?

Hi HD,
Glad you like it  the belly pan came from germany its to fit a hornet 900, it needed a bit of trimming and i had to make some brackets up for it but they were easy enough to do. I'll post some close up pics when i get time the wkend.
