How does this come apart? Rear brake caliper

Here's my rear brake caliper. Everything's seized. Got the pistons out with compressed air. Now I want to remove the silver coloured bracket in the photo from the main body of the caliper. My question is, once the nut on the lower slider is undone (marked by the red arrow), should the bracket "slide" off the sliders (in the direction of the blue arrows)?
I can't tell if there are any other fasteners underneath the rubber covers on the sliders. The whole unit is solid, and I don't want to tear the rubber covers. Rather than force it, can anyone tell me how the silver bracket comes off? I'd appreciate any help or ideas. Thanks.

it should just pull out. Plenty of penetrating oil and lots of pulling and jiggling about will get it released eventually

you can get all the rubbery bits from David Silver or Wemoto. if your'e buying pistons or pads and giving it the full VIP treatment you may as well go the full monty

If I remember rightly, once the pads are out, the posts (attached to the silver half) should just slide out, no need to undo anything. They tend to corrode though so lots of plus gas/wd40 and wiggle/pry until they move. you'll probably need to polish them up before you grease and reassemble it.
