Hi i have got a 1992 cbr400 nc29 when i brought the bike it was a non runner and traced it down to a fuel pump relay and got another one off ebay the bike run first time. then i didnt have to bike run for about 3 months whille i striped and rebulit it but the bike still ran fine but then i havent started the bike up for 2 months and now it wont run looks like the same problame as when i am turning the ingtion on you cant hear the fuel pump come on but when i ues a jumper wire arcoss the black and black/blue wire it pumps fuel out when i have the bike striped i could not find anythink wrong with the wireing loom and it all buzzed though ok. anyone had this problame before or know where i can get a new relay with out going to honda as they want £70 just for a relay

It's just a standard auto relay. These can be had very cheaply, but you may need to wire it in.

Does the pump work when the engine is running? They seem to be rev dependent.

Yeah i thought that they was a normal auto relay, am pretty sure that the pump is pumping the fuel when the enigne is running has when i did have it running it didnt jave any issues and when i turn the ingtion on is primes the fuel system by pumping some fuel out thanks for your help
