Hiya All,

Fairings - Bottom connecting Lugs are snapped! Repair or ok as it is?!?!
Has some fun over the weekend! :(
Took the fairing off my CBR400, NC29 for the 1st time.

Back all came off easy.
Front was a pain!

ISSUES:
1. The 2 bottom Lugs are snapped! These are the ones which bolt together the LHS fariings with the RHS Fairings. The lugs are at the front, behind the wheel, and at the back, under the swing arm. The Fasterners are there, holding onto the snapped bit of plastic from the opposite fairing.

2. The "V" Panel, behind the fron wheel is broken. The bottom lug is snapped clean off, as per the above. THe RHS screw wing is snapped off, I've tapped it to the rest of the "V" Panel.

What should I do?
1. I've been riding the bike happyly for the last 1,000 miles or so - no problems at all I've noticed. Do I need the Bottom Lugs fixed?!?!

2. Is this a common thing done to fairings? to get the fairing off quicker in the workshop?
Should I remove the Fairing beforehand in future, before passing over to workshop, for servicing etc.

2. Skidmarx do a replacement "V" Panel for £35 delivered. Cheaper than getting the workshop to glue the old one back together?

Hope you can advise!

Cheers
Martin
