Need some help getting this damn nut off of the front sprocket to remove it, myself, my father, and a friend of his have all tried to get this nut off no success, I'm currently trying to get it off turning the spanner anti clockwise, is this wrong, I know this thing has been well over tightened as it's only supposed to be 55nm, same as another bolt i have no problem with, so whats up??? I'm all ready with a DID x-ring chain and new front sprocket and this nut is driving me insane :x :x

A spanner!!!!!!!!!
Get a socket and a long bar on it, hold the back brake on firmly (hopefully you left the chain on to help with undoing the nut) and put the bike in gear and it should move.
Fingers crossed for ya

It's even melting the plastic stuff or whatever it is on the old front sprocket, no movement at all, it's a bolt so Im assuming you don't mean heat that, i'd rather than contracted than expanded!

Edit: Nothing, I'll have make an unplanned expense to buy an impact driver  at least it's not a reverse thread...

If anyone else has a problem and grinds their bolt off to get it off or anything OEM part number for new bolt is 90037-422-003 :peace: im trying to avoid this so far, we'll see

SUCCESS

 took some serious hammering with a hammer onto an Impact driver, but then the impact driver just started cutting into the bolt so i thought maybe its a bit loose by now(like 10 minutes of hammering) then i used a breaker bar for loosening tractor nuts, with every extension my neighbour gave me with it(like 3 so it was a metre long) and then VOILA, god that made me smile, and bolt still good enough to use again, well debateable but i will be doing so anyway

So thats 17 years of nc35 torque tightening it(i reckon original front sprocket) never again! but i'm sure a gold plated 525VX x-ring pro street chain and front sprocket from DID should last

Edit: last step was rivet chain and the riveter broke :x :x
