Can this be done without taking the front fairing off?
Going to put new screen and bolt kit on it but the bolts behind the clocks look like a bastard to get to while in situ??
Ta,

it is possible, if you can get the old one out, long nose pliers and someone with small hands help! then use captive rubber nuts on the new one you dont need anything underneath to hold a nut.

Use a long ring spanner or tape one to another to make an extension.
when you put the new nuts in use a round piece of paper under the ring of the spnner then stick it there with masking tape on the side of the ring. Drop the nut in and when it's tight you can just take the spanner away.
I had to do this when I put in engine mounts on a Mini once.
To be honest it's not that difficult to take the top fairing off.
