This may be a question for the racers but i think somebody posted once, may have been Mike at BMC that the RVF's had problems with one of the gears due to racing. Is this true or have i been staying up too late?

Hi,

there is two different gearbox problem, on both NC30 and 35.

one is that they only can manage about 85-90 bhp!!

The other is second gear, that tend to give up with hard use ie racing or newbie...

I remembered someone mention the box and i was over at a friends on Friday who owns a company that make race gears for cars/bikes, was having a general chat about the kit he has and when i told him some of the bikes had possible problems he said he can fix any gearbox, even got the ceramic vibro kit that makes ya gears smoother and last longer.

The factory pro kit is similar to the nc30 hrc parts that were offered, probably a good bit of kit.
