cheers gonzo....yeah i see that thread earlier. iv found the price now too, £40 for the bracket. so can the damper not be fitted with the adjuster at the front without the rick kit?? or is it possible without? would i have to move my clocks/anything upfront for instance??

cheers

I've tried it - not possible with stock amount of lock and a 140mm sprint damper.

cheers banoffee, exactally the info i needed mate

so how much stroke am i gunna need realisticly?? if i want to mount the damper reverse.....

i keep seeing 120mm strokes,130mm and 140mm

is it just a case of using the lock you have once the dampers fitted and living with it!? suppose you ll only miss the extra lock around town and low speeds etc.

can a 120mm stroke be used on a nc30 fitted normally and reverse!? sorry, im just so confused about whats standard after seeing so many diff dampers with all diff stroke lengths too for the vfr.

cheers

140mm retains full lock. just. I wouldn't want to run less stroke/loke on a road bike personally.
