These are the two main organisers for track days. They both have novice groups for those that are new to trackdays.

Focused and No Limits are both good and well organised trackdays, have used both. I think Focused are more strict with the overtaking, no stuffing it up the inside of someone (even in the fast group). Which is good if you need to learn the track and get used to your bike.
No limits are also strict with safety, but i think they are more relaxed with the overtaking provided you arn't a complete arse and trying to take people off.
Both offer advice and help from instructors, so it is well worth having a word and asking if they can offer some advice and follow you round and get you going a bit faster and use more productive lines :peace:

They also do novice only days but i really cant see the point of these, the one i watched was seriously lame even i could have lapped the lot on a FSIE.

Found out today that you can pay £10 to double up with someone for a trackday and share the sessions, might be a good idea if you want a little taster.

Yer sounds like a good idea, providing the person you are sharing with is not likely to bin it :spank:
Do FE and NL offer this?

Cheers DM thats good to know. I dont always want to do all the sessions on a trackday, and it would work out a bit cheaper than a test afternoon.
And if it's your first go at a track it is nice to just have a few goes to learn.
