RVF400 Fairing Torque settings...

I've got a Haynes Manual and it says general torque settings for thread sizes so I'll use that if I have to, but does anyone have the actual torque settings the fairings should be torqued to? I haven't received my RVF yet, but it's getting delivered in like 20 minutes but it isn't licenced etc can't ride it yet, while I do that I'm hoping to pop the panels off and clean everything, seems to have been ever so slightly neglected by previous owner, at least he put on yoshimura carbon fibre exhaust, bridgestone tyres, braided fron't lines(long, race setup), newish pads, tinted screen, they think he might have changed the jets too but I'm not that mechanical to go that far yet!!

Fairing fasteners get done up t-bar tight, using two fingers or at most a hand, not the wrist and definitely not the elbow. Overtightening will eventually crack the plastics.

The rvf and vfr have fairing screws/spacers/mountings that have collars/shoulders that butt up against metal not plastic to prevent damage to the fairing.
I still punch out plastic washers from old milk cartons to protect the paintwork.
I find a tee bar and 1/4" drive socket with an allen, cross head, or wide flat blade bits works well, 7ft/lbs is the correct torque for an m6 screw or flange head bolt, but I just do mine up tight.
Dave.
