yeah nick did a great job on that seat unit, i got a spare in the garage if anyones interested. I did shorten the can an inch or 2 as it stuck out a bit more than i liked but hey thats just me, i fiddle with things too much :D .
The suspension was a bit passed its best when i got it off nick so its now been treated to a Rick oliver fork kit and fully sorted RS250 shock, oh and got some slicks to go on aswell. Doing brands on the 18th so looking forward to showing a few gixers how its done . It was great first time i took it there but the knackered suspension was showing when pushing hard, should be spot on now. It'll be getting ram air over the winter so i'll be tapping you up for a bit for advice no doubt mr viper.

Yeah he sounds like a helpfull bloke, dont wanna bang on about in this thread but have you gave the ram air setup a decent outing yet? what ya verdict?

From the information that Chris has given me the set-up is all but right. I've not planned a dyno run, but I'm off for a track-day on the 17th as a shake-down. I'll be taking plenty of tools so I can adjust things differently ie needle height, a/f screw etc but I'll also have a spare set of carbs and an HRC carb tray as I know the bike runs with that set-up.

No its not sadly. It to me looks to be a 1993 RGV250 VJ22a Not a bad one at that too. There is a guy who lives by me with a very high spec kit 500 (130bhp I think). I can assure you right now, you would do bad things to have that

Id love to drop a 500 in as that was the original plan but time and money is becoming a issue so im gunna settle for a kit spec track tool, havent even rode it yet as busy rebuilding the RVF track bike and i dont like to start something until i have the parts and funds in place to finish it. ive started gathering a few trick parts for it so should give the RVF a run for its money :D
