hi all i'm looking to swap the stock (damaged) speedo tacho and temp gauge for an aftermarket (alfano) digital dash.
i had all kinds of problems with my 3tj and removing the speedo, does anyone know what i'm likely to run into on the rvf?

dead easy mate, all digital dashes ive come across work straight off the cdi

the problem i had before was with the bike registering that the speedo was missing and restricting the power after second gear, finally cured it with an m max type box, wondering if the honda will be the same?

No need for the m max box you just need to connect the rev limit wire from the cdi to a +12v source if you remove the speedo

ideal, now to save a search does anyone know which wire this is from the cdi? i know it'll be on here somewhere but any pointers much welcomed
