Hi.

I want to get both my NC30's dyno'd as neither of them have ever been done. I don't really have a clue about power curves and the differences between Dyno machines. All I want is the max bhp info and suggestions on how to make it run as sweet as possible.

These guys are up the road from me, has anyone used them before or can anyone comment on there equipment for Dyno set up?

They've got dyno graphs for both 30 and 35 so that sugests they've done them before. I would always go visit or at lease have a chat over the phone first and throw in a few NC specific questions to see if he knows his onions, any shody answers and walk away.

Yeah but did you see the bhp for the 30 and 35?

30 was 68hp and 35 is about 74hp that's sounds v.high!

That maybe a question to rise then to see if he's any good, those figures are clearly race engines with id guess ram air on the RVF and maybe an open filter setup on the VFR, mine made 74 with the ram air setup.

For you we know he may have not even touched the bikes, just dyno'd them for someone. On the other hand he may have done all the work to em.

We defo need some approved NC dyno's down south, the northen monkeys have all the good ones ;)

Just rung him. Nice bloke, v.helpful knew about getting the jetting right and needle heights. The graphs shown are all gear runs which calculate from the crank so they are 8-10 bhp over reading which is in the right ball park.

£40.00 for a go for 3 run calculations. And they have graphs from lots of other NC,s that they can compare with.

They can also do set ups based on the graph readings if you want.

I've booked the Seed in on Friday.

Where are the recommended dyno places up north? Might pay them a visit.
