What choice on front calipers do we have on the NC35, my track bike has 600rr calipers on, are these the same as the SP1?
What other options are there.

yes the same. just varies in colour and age.

Is the wrong answer. 600rr calipers have bigger pistons and require a bigger master cylinder (11/16 compared to 5/8 for sp-1)

Come to think about it i remember someone talking about getting the right seals for the pistons now i know why!
my calipers are of the CBR 600 and are the bomb digerdy, but they the black ones that arnt as fancy as the gold ones.

I fitted 929 calipers to my CB-1, they are super-flash with teflon-coated ally pistons, I think that is the main difference from black/gold calipers. The black ones have chromed steel pistons, correct?

Not sure as i havent stripped them, as they are fine at the mo, but come next winter ill over haul them as i did the rear and everything else this year.

I have some from a CBR600FI if i recall, they are the black calipers and have the black coated pistons too.
