Where do you get your parts from?

Hi,
I've got to get a new throttle cable for the FZR and wondered where you get your parts from? I bought some oil filters and bits from wemoto with no problems. They have throttle cables and was going to order it. I've looked through ebay and seen second hand but thought I'd treat it to a new one.
Is there a magical place with all the FZR bits I could ever want

I mostly use Wemoto myself. Haven't had any problems so far

ooops wrong section, that's a good start. My second post! I looked through the FZR section and couldn't find anything about bits then just hit 'new topic'.
I can't move it to the wanted/for sale section. If it needs moving can a mod do it?
Cheers for the reply Harveyb.

for genuine yam stuff try granbys yamaha or fowlers of bristol both hold extensive stock for fzr400s,some prices can be eye watering and other stuff not much more than pattern stuff-worth ringing to check first.my vote would go to granbys.

I thought it would be OK putting it here, I now get a yellow banner at the top of the screen saying 'Forum Rule - ..post items for sale or wanted in the correct section..'
Cheers Cagiva996 I'll get in touch with them for a price.

The yellow banner is there all the time, so it is nothing to do with your post.
I have bought a few bits from Wemoto and Fowlers of Bristol, but make sure you have your VIN number handy when you call Fowlers, as it is the first thing they will ask you for before they serve you.

Oh, cheers for that. I thought it was something I'd done.
Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure I've got my paperwork when I ring them.

Hi EC,
YB's had a few expected problems, but it's getting there. As you know they can be a love/hate relationship.
Here's this weekends findings. -

I had a good run on it this evening, sounds great and feels rock solid. I'll see how hard it is to start tomorrow night. I'm going to order some new plugs, when they arrive and the fairing is off I plan on oil and filter change. I've got to order a new throttle cable for the FZR at the same time, the current one's working but needs replacing.
I'll start a thread in the members rides section now I'm settle in here. It's quite nice in these parts, although the FZR to V4 ratio is worrying
