hi,

i have a problem with pitting on my fork stachions. i have already replaced the seals and rubbed down the pitting with wet n dry paper, but one of my forks is leaking again.

is it worth trying to repair these or should i just replace the stanchions?

Try ebay or this forum for a pair of better forks & swap them over...

thanks good idea but i have advertised on here and had no replies, couldnt find anything on ebay either, does anyone sell these in the uk??

A top bloke and comes well recommended on here.

i changed my search on ebay from nc30 to vfr400 and i found some. 100 pond a fork so i will have to save up or find a way to fix mine.

has anyone here tried to fill the pitting with liquid metal? is it worth a try?

ive got a set of forks with the guys mentioned above they are fantastic the first set i sent them the told me one leg had a crease in the so the sent me a second van to pick up an even worse set i had (chrome was flaking of in lumps) been told they should be ready this week and good or better then new would recomend them just on there communication alone
