14/43 or 15/43?

anyone run either of these gearings if so i would like to hear your input as i have only run 14/40 and 15/40 and am waiting for a 43t to arrive, so i have no idea what to expect from either of these gearing ratios

15/43 is virtually the same gearing as 14/40, it would be difficult to notice any difference.

14/43 is quite a bit lower.

14/43, no debate.
Unless you travel everywhere at over a ton.

My 400 has been geared up to decrease revs at cruising. Nice idea, but I don't cruise anywhere on it, so I will be downgearing it again. I'm not really interested in the 1 or 2 mpg it'll cost me either.

Sometimes downgearing costs you top speed, but if it allows it rev out where previously it couldn't then top speed remains the same.

Worth considering the effect it will have on speedo accuracy, though.
