Anybody catch my article in Moto Tech Magazine? Is that a popular magazine in Europe (where it's from)? It's not very available here in the USA.

Scanned it and put it up??? Where did they do that? Do you have a link?

The editor of Moto Tech said I could post a link to the article from my website but he wanted me to be liberal with it. So, I won"t post a link to the scan you're referring to. Hopefully, he'll send me a pdf to post on my site after the next issue is out.

I am writing part two now. I hope to finish it by the due date (August 16th), but it's a lot of work.

We have a Formula-IV class that allows multiple bikes of various capacities, with the rules structure trying to match over-all performance. The SVs still have the upper hand so they are going to be very tough to beat. We can beat all but the best tuned bikes. Those guys are going to take more power, more work, more energy. We'll get them.

There was never a scan of the articlwe on the forum. If there was it would have been removed due to copyright infringement, although, if you can get it in .pdf and have it on your site, Mike then there is no harm in linking it for us ;)

how can we get this magazine in the uk?

it looks really interesting to me (planning to do motorsport engineering degree) as im really interested by this in depth detail of engines and development, is this fairly typical of the articles in the mag?

Spike: The magazine is published in the UK. Go to http://shop.racetechmag.com/products.asp?pid=37

The series of magazines, Race Tech, Moto Tech and Bernoulli are all engineering-level magazines. The depth of detail and caliber of information is all top-notch. This is why I pay the extra to get the mag here in the USA.

PDF link would be great. If I could buy the mag readily here in Canada, I'd opt for the printed copy though.

Thanks for the heads up.

Marek

p.s. I just spent an hour on your web site. Great read. I envy you big time .... I mean, not the troubles with rods and cranks, but all the fun behind developing your own stuff. Quite amazing.
