Last year I picked up a bargain pair of wheels, freshly powdercoated and never fitted since. Unfortunatley when they were powdercoated they didn't mask anything off...

Any idea what I can use to strip powdercoat off the back wheel where it seats on the hub? Wire brush etc no good as I need to clean out the locating pin holes. Does nitromors or anything similar work?

grinder with wire wheels, blowtorch, sand paper or media blasting

By pin holes do you mean bolt holes or locating dowels, etc? Sandpaper or even a fine flapdisc on a grinder will clear powdercoat off no prob, use a tap for threads.

Ive had a few like this, for the pin holes, i use a drill & 10mm bit but i cannot 100% remeber.
For the 2 seats that the hub sits on, i use a coarse drill bit, similar to a dremel cylinder shaped grinding bit.
Works a treat, nice & easy & only takes about 10 mins.
Its a right bastard when they dont bother doing it right in the 1st place.

Drill bit - hmm, hadn't thought of that. That could work, I'll measure up and see if I can ream them out that way. I had tried scraping the 10mm-ish holes out with a scalpel blade but gave up . I know if I mount it as it is I'll have to spend two hour booting the wheel to get it off again...

Flap disk sounds like a plan for the main mating surface, I got some off it off with a wire brush in a drill but it was taking ages.

Suprised whoever did them didn't mask them up but at £95 for a pair of shiny wheels I can't grumble too much..
