Sorry but think its a nc24 lump. Easy way to check, pop off the clutch casing & look @ that, an nc30 engine wont have clutch spring springs, they have spring plates & also, does the engine have open oil feeds in the front for an oil cooler???

It doesn't look like the 24 lump I have sat in the garage, unless it just looks different because it's incomplete and the photo isn't the best

Just realised this engine is on ebay for £40.
ask for some pics of the other side, as they say it doesnt have a clutch casing on it. you'll able to confirm straight away.
also, thunderace, you say the engine doesnt look like the 24' lump you have in your garage, it doesnt look like the 30' lump i have in my living room
its cheap for £40 but it could be a shitter.

Got a reply back from seller, engine number is NC13ET-042** am I right in thinking the first NC30's started NC13e-12*** ?
