I like that advert.
You are bidding on brand new Derestricted CDI Ignition For Modification
YAMAHA XV400 2NT
Dimensions and other parameters as same as original CDI.
The responding time brings me extra 20% of orignal CDI,
but the petrol only cost me extra 3-4%. Even i start my bike on Winter, it is not hard anymore. i think it is good buy!
First off the NC24 is not speed restricted in any way. The sensor-plate in the speedo is there to illuminate the 'speed' bulb when you pass 80km/h. In good condition the bike will still pull to the start of the red-line in 6th gear without problem from factory spec (220km/h / 136mph).
Secondly the NC24 has a TCI transistorised ignition. If this were a CDI you'd need low resistance coils.
The only differences I could imagine would be a different ingition map, i'd be really surprised it was a copy of the HRC TT-F3 box, but to harness this you'd need the rest of the stuff with the bike.
And going by manufacturing reputation these igntiion boxes will last as long as a set of kyoto brake pads.
