Would love to know who does your exchange rate!! Lol

Have been watching japan yahoo and with the exchange rate it isn't the best time to buy. Realistically the system will sell for a fair whack.
So budget for another 20000 ¥ for insured delivery and fees.
Gone are the days for cheap Jap exotica.....

Paypal ;) sent over 30000 yen and they took around £160 although i agree as ive just checked with a currency convertor and its works out @ £234?? will check that paypal statement later but i know it was around £160.

I agree the days of bargins from the motherland are long gone but when did you last see a TI system for sale on ebay, doesnt come along very often. In fact when was the last time any decent system come up on ebay? Its never going to be cheap anymore, if you want something special then you gota pay through the nose im afraid.
I had a chat with some racefit reps at a show a year maybe 2 ago about producing a full or half system in TI and the reply was if they could get enough orders in to warrent producing them id be looking at £1500+ :o

Yep I agree with Tony, it's bloody difficult to get quality items over here now, and when you do find something it's a bidding war! I've bought off yahoo japan for the last two months now and I'm getting very good quality stuff at a really reasonable price. If I could get this stuff in this country (which I can't) it would be double the price, So yahoo japan is far cheaper even with import fees in my opinion. Yes it's slightly hasslie but worth it for good stuff.
