OK everybody I am after your collective wisdom here.

I have an nc35 with an ethos half system on it. I am about to get some larger main jets to deal with full throttle fueling but I wanted to know how to deal with the midrange. ON nc30's I understand you can just put an extra half ml washer and that sorts it quite nicely, however I read somewhere on here that instead of the extra washer, a set of softer slide springs works better on the 35. My question is, has anyone on here actually done this with their nc35? and what was the result.

Trude, you are correct. I have a set of Rick Oliver's repro hrc springs in my nc35 carbs (as quite a few people have done on the forum), a cheap worthwhile upgrade IMO. The overall effect feels very similar to raising the needles with a washer in the nc30 carbs.

Rick is a member here, do a member search and you'll find him.
