CB1000 LHD Switchgear Similar or Same to NC30?

Post by tanto »

Despite strip, clean, & re-assembly, my LHD switchgear appears to be worn out. The little ball bearing inside the unit jams & refuses to allow the indicator selector to select "left". "Right" is okay.

A quick scout around and I see a LHD switchgear unit on eBay.co.uk that may be compatible (assuming one re-wires its' plugs):

Item number Item number: 250722410275.

Would this CB1000 unit work on an NC30? Is it the same? It *looks* very close.

If the CB1000 unit is identical to the NC30, and current production, I could order it in Thailand. Might be a bit less expensive here too, and new switchgear would look great when the yokes, fittings, & bars have been powder-coated. 8-)

As the picture doesn't show the entire unit, can anyone confirm that the CB1000 LHD switchgear is identical to the NC30's? I'm not worried about re-wiring the plugs.
