Just wondering if the alternator rotor (the magnetic part) is the same for the NC29 and NC23? If not then does anyone know where I might get hold of one (or have one for sale possible)?

By the parts book a NC23J part# is 31110KY2003 and a NC29L is 31110MV4000.

You might have to get someone to compare the difference between the two or post a photo of 23 unit to see what the diff is.

I can tell you an early CBR600 alternator doesn't fit in a CB-1.

We have plenty used in stock - £15 each.
