nc30 types?

Question is there a way to determin which type your nc30 was orginally? Maybe you can use the vin number or as you guys might call it the head stock number. My bike came with aftermarket fairings on it and im looking to restore it to 100% orginal and i'd like to attempt to figure out which type/color combo my bike was orginally. Any help would be great. I know here in the states on old antique cars and such you can decode the vin numbers so to speek and figure things out. For example i had a 57 chevy belair and from the vin i could tell what the build date was, number off the line, plant it was made in, orginal motor, orginal options like ac and what not, interior and exterior colors. All that you could figure out from the couple numbers on the car. I'd like to do the same with my nc30.

Thanks
Jason

Look under the pillion seat, there should be a white vinyl label on the fender with a paint code e.g NH ----.

Google ' nc30 model info' and work it out from that! The Headstock number should correspond with a year and colour scheme

ok by doing that i came up with mine is either a r3l or r3n. not sure which one as of yet have to do alittle more reasearch. but either way it still gives two color codes for each of them. so is there a way to break it down even more and figure out which of the two color codes for either the r3l or r3n my bike could be??? any ideas? im really up in the air which which of the type color combos i like so i figure if i can find out which mine was orginally then thats what im going with.

This sticker is the only way to tell what the original colour scheme was.

This link shows the 8 nc30 colour schemes and the colour codes.

Some used the same code, so you need to know what year model you nc30 is (frame number & haynes manual), then check which scheme it is:

Post it up, this is the one I mean, are you looking at the right sticker, there were 4 on my fender.

The paint code label and year model on mine were printed in English, not Japanese.
