Hi everyone,i've got CB400'93(NC23 engine) and i had constant problems with fuel consumtion and sparks. Then i found out that the bike feels better when i put my camshaft not on fabric marks. The difference is one tooth on each cam and i start thinking somebody swapped camshafts before i bought it. It's chain driven engine and it's written
MY6 or MY9 on the shafts.
Are they original for this engine?Any other ideas?

The best could happen is somebody has open cover engine like mine.

MY9 is the prefix code for parts for the honda superfour, the engine number begins with NC23
I bought one as a basket case awhile ago and spent some time renovating it I can get up to 75mpg with it, mind you thats just pootling along at a steady 50mph a bit of enthusiastic riding can reduce it to about 50mpg

So,these are proper camshafts for my bike you think?Strange, because i'm pretty sure bike works better, uses less fuel, feels stronger now when shafts are "wrong" according fabric marks.Any other ideas?
