caliper rebuilds. who does it ??

on my castrol bike i have a set of SP-2 calipers and lately i've been looking at them and have been thinking about changing back to standard calipers, i've never really got on with them and the look of them on the bike is not making me feel warm and fuzzy inside like they used to but if i go back to standard NISSIN's i want them rebuilt and "as new " as i can get them.

when i sell the SP-2's they'll fund the rebuild so it'll be new seals, pistons and i have new pads. i just don't know anywhere that does the rebuild....

or is it a case of, no one offers the service so i'll have to do it myself,so where can i buy the seals, pistons etc ?

Royster im sure a man of your abillity could easily tackle the task. the hardest part is getting the pistons out if there seized, not so hard if you have some decent tools to get them out. I'll do it for ya if you dont fancy it.

Im no expert on it mate but ive been doing a lot of research on blasting lately and both soda and aqua blasting have a zero profile loss which means there's absolutly no chance of damaging the inner faces although id still mask them up to be safe.
Ive also seen the results first hand and its very good. as for annodising i cant help you there as ive never had it done. A couple of fairly local places to me do both soda and aqua blasting but im comtemplating getting my own soda blaster as there reasonably cheap although your need a pretty guttsy compressor to make use of one. I like the idea of using one to strip and clean rough body panels to get in all the tight places you cant easily with a DA sander.
