What Parts & Oil for NC30 Showa Rear Shock Overhaul?

While I wait for my NC30 to be delivered next week, can anyone suggest what parts & oil are needed to overhaul the NC30 Showa rear shock with reservoir? I'd like to order any seals, washers, etc from the UK in advance, and source a suitable oil in Thailand. Any suggestions for UK suppliers, and for the oil spec?
Also, with the reservoir rear shock, do I need to mount a schrader valve on the reservoir itself to re-gas the shock?

Having mine overhauled as i write this, 1200 baht for oil, seals and a good cleaning.
I was quoted 3500 for a new one.......... but couldn't understand if it was a new unit from a chinese company or if it was a standard showa unit that had already been re-conditioned.
Turn around time is 2 days if you want yours re-conditioned, mine will be done via the shop i told you about near seacon square :)

Hey Karl, that sounds good. Let me know what you think of their rebuild. I was thinking of doing it myself in Chiang Mai if I can source the parts. If not, can you let me have a phone number for the guys in BKK? It could be turned around in one week.
BTW, I took a look at that polished NC30 Streetfighter you mentioned they had. It had already been sold. I'll post some photos. IMHO the polished engine looked neat. Reminded me of classic cars from a few years back.

The streetfighter looked nice, but not as nice as the mint CBR600RR they have in metalic white and black............. mmmmmmmmmm dribble dribble drool drooool!! I might be upgrading very soon, but having done so much work on my NC30 i'm a little reluctant to sell her

The shop in question rebuilt the front suspension last week and it works as it should, dampening works much better than it did before.
God i have to resit that CBR600RR........................
