Can someone confirm where this wheel coller fits please.. http://www.cmsnl.com/products/collar-b- ... 625mv4000/ I can only think it fits inside of the bearings on the sprocket carrier but would like confirmation. All it was I was looking through the fiche and spotted this and cant remember seeing it.

I remember seeing that recently when I removed my rear wheel to have my new tyres fitted, I was told to take off the sprocket as well as the disk, so I think you're right about its placement.

Thanks for your reply rob, well i took my wheel off to have a look it seems there was a bit uncertainty on this and there is a coller fitted to the sprocket carrier, I could not get it off and didnt want to disturb the fit but it does look the same. Gives me a reason to get my rear wheel bearings replaced at least, I have had them lying about for a while now.

You will find such a spacer press-fitted into the sprocket carrier bearing. It is usually such a good fit that if you didn't know, you would think it was part of the bearing. I recommend removing by tapping it out like a bearing before you remove the actual bearing.
