On the third of the images, does anyone know what is missing or what should be in the 'brown area' on the outer casing of the cooler? It appears to have two small welds and I wondered if this held on a small plate with a part number?

If anyone can provide some light on this, I'd be interested to know,

Not sure what it is or what was there, but I doubt it was a part number or anything original.
