I use Mer on the tank and panels, autosol on the ally bits, wd40 on the black plastic bits, brake cleaner on the calipers followed with a quick buff with autosol and as for the wheels its open for debate viewtopic.php?f=22&t=16255&hilit=cleaning+wheels
Keep on top of it and it wont be such a pain ;)

Panels off! And Gunk everything engine downwards! Dont mix it with water use it neat from a cheapo spraycan! And a paintbrush,or mr sheen! It's an excellent degreasant!! then clean everything with a polishing cloth then spray with either acf50 spray or motorex polish and shine! Then rubbing compound ob the tank and panels with a polishing cloth then finishing polish I use Autoglym! Some use other detailing stuff!!

That should bring it shiny!!!

I use my clay bar every now and then, get all the old polish, grime ect ect off and gives you a nice clean base to start from, bought myself some poorboys products a while ago to use on my car and the results were great.
