All this talk of OCD...

...got me spotting a grievous mistake with my bike.

The indicators, I can live with, as they clear my exhaust nicely. But there's something else that's kept my up at night, well, a couple of things really...
...that's right. That rear reflector. Just won't do. Time for a winter mini-project.
Steve, one of 400gb nobility, had a couple of undertrays for sale, after my quest to find an unmolested example. He had two to choose from, one came with an 'aftermarket' numberplate holder, which I'm in two minds whether to use at all - but having the option was nice, as it's only attached my a couple of M6s. I've got a carbon exhaust hanger to add, and whilst I'm at it, I'm thinking of painting the insides of the tail section black to match by bellypan.
So, after receiving the item last week, today was the day I stripped it down, washed it up, and added a little sparkle here and there as well as a couple of new items (rubbers and rear reflector).

Almost ready to be put on?
Not quite.
Whilst I was busy shopping, I also managed to buy a further 2 subframes. After choosing the best one from my amassed collection, I sent the subframe off to be powdercoated, along with a couple of other bits like the rear shock reservoir hanger and bungee hook points. All in matching gloss black. Again, this should have been something I had done ages ago, but never really got around to it.
I've also taken the liberty to purchase some new OE bolts to hold everything together (the subframe bolts were essential), whereby other smaller items will be held in place with stainless lovelies.
If you're still awake at the back, everything will hopefully come together within the next couple of weeks.
