Hello everyone
Some of you may know that I have been fixing my race bike and finally got the chance to get working on it after I saved up some funds. After fiddling with the carbies, doing a valve clearance check (which were way off) and reinstalling the exhaust system, I decided to give it a go at starting it. At first I tried without the tank and realized that there wasn't enough fuel going in (carbies were dry) since I only put in like 100mL or so using a syringe without the plunger. Failing to start I thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone by slapping the old tank back on. Get to put more fuel in and I also get to check if the tank was leaking...lucky for me it didn't leak
Plugged it all in, wheeled it out of the garage and got the camera ready for record. The results are below.

After this clip I left the bike to idle till about 70 degrees and then gave it a few squirts of gas to see how responsive it was, if there were any odd sounds or if it would blow up in my face. This time using my phone which had a bit better sound quality...however only coming out of one speaker
. The engine does make some odd rattling noises in the clip...not sure if it is something I should be concerned about
. Oil/Filter hasn't been replaced yet.

I think the old muffler was a Sansei one. It had a Yoshi sticker on it, but after I peeled it off it had Sansei burnt on it. Shame it was destroyed in the accident
. Well hopefully when I receive the next muffler, it would sound nice :D.
Regards
