i have had the tank off today and it appears there are no overflow or breather hoses attached to the tank on my NC35.. The two hoses on the left hand side of the bike either side of the fuel tap....

im assuming the overflow would lead somewhere to the near the bottom of the bike
Is the Breather pipe just left open ended? or does this actually attach to somewhere on the bike?

That's very handy thanks, but it does not show where the pipes actually go. I think both dont attach to anything but i wanted to be sure...

May attach to a t-connector to another breather somewhere? I remember my mate saying something similar on his tank breathers...

On my bike the thicker tube off the bottom of the tank (no. 29 in the previous posts link) goes down the side of cylinder 1 and goes into a slot in the frame by the front sprocket.
not sure if that is were it's supposed to go, but seems to work fine for me

do you actually definitely need the overflow and breather tubes? my rvf has those 2 tubes removed...

From someone how has actually had there bike go on fire while sitting on it- i would defo recommend fitting one- petrol pouring on a hot engine is a bad idea!

where do the tubes go though? i don't think the haynes manual makes reference to them...so i'd have to know where they actually end up..
