Has anyone done the 1/4 mile on the NC? (TIMES ADDED)

Just wondering if anyone has done the quarter mile, and if so what times have you got?
What mods, gearing etc.?
While we're at it, what's the fastest you've done the quarter mile on any bike/car?
Cheers

I did a 12.27 on my NC23 about 4 years ago. I had -1 +2 gearing and weighed about 7 stone at the time (it was a month after I was diagnosed with diabetes and I had lost a fair amount of weight)
It stepped out massively on the line and I think I could have done a bit quicker if it had all gone well.
Apart from that. High 12s to low 13s seem to be about the norm for our bikes.

I'm sure a well sorted NC35 can push into the low 12s high 11s given appropriate preparation.

Well some quick research tells me VFR's can run 12.3-12.6, and RVF's about 12.2-12.5. But I'm sure if you dropped a tooth on the front and went up 7 on the rear (I've seen 14/45 sprockets available) you could push very low 12's, maybe high 11's..
Just wanted to know if anyone has actually done it.
Also, approximately what revs would you dump the clutch at?
Here's some times someone posted on a forum. No idea where he got the times from or exactly how accurate they are:
CBR400 - 55bhp @ r/w - 13.5 seconds 1/4 mile @ 105mph - Top speed 128mph
VFR400 - 57bhp @ r/w - 12.3 seconds 1/4 mile @ 110mph - Top speed 135mph
RVF400 - 58bhp @ r/w - 12.1 seconds 1/4 mile @ 115mph - Top speed 140mph
ZXR400 - 57bhp @ r/w - 12.9 seconds 1/4 mile @ 109mph - Top speed 145mph
GSXR400 - 54bhp @ r/w - 13.2 seconds 1/4 mile @ 98mph - Top speed 125mph
PS: For comparison, here's a site with drag times of cars.
http://www.exoticcarsite.com/0-60-quart ... -times.htm
- 2002 Lamborghini Murcielago runs 12.0
- 2003 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG runs 12.39
- Ferrari 360 Spider runs 12.4+
Pity there's next to none of these cars in Sydney, and the roads are overflowing with cops

Otherwise I could have raced one and got a definitive answer!

I've been down the strip on my NC35, only been down a few times so still room for improvement i think.
My best time was 13.1 can remember my trap speed but can look round for it.

Either that ZXR is a J-Spec import (60bhp) or it's down on power, it should make 65bhp if it's a uk model

I have a test in an old mag with 1/4 mile times.
The nc29 was quickest with a 12.6s run.
The nc30 wasn't tested (they'd written it off by then!) but I reckon it would be a good second or so slower because of the high first gear.

Those terminal speeds look a bit high too. The best I had was 109mph. average was about 105 for the majority of the runs.
