Im going to rebuild my calipers but i have loads of questions ,

Does anyone have any experiance of these bolt kits,

Those bolts are expensive even compared to Tradepoint or Screwfix (where you get a pack of 50 for around the same price btw).

The seals are a bit pricey too. I got OE ones from DSS for £5.50 per caliper.

i bet what you see there i can probally get for a £1 at the most. all in A2 SS

search for my local fastners and tell them what you want, and ask them if theyll post them out, if not i can collect and post to you. im always in there, if you speak to steve and explain you know me, Rick, he'll know me as the guy that spends hours in there picking up odds and ends for my VFR they always moan (in a jokey way) when i go in! can i have 6 of these, 10 of these, 1 of them etc, they love me though cash, no receipt etc.

You got OE Dust Seals and Piston Seals for 5.50?

The Dust seals are 2.25+ (43109MA3006) (2 required per caliper)
The Piston seals are 3.25+ (43209MA3006) (2 required per caliper)

I had to order a full set on Saturday. (12.93 inc vat per caliper) for the NC24.

The NC30 has 4 pistons per caliper too so you'd need twice as many seals! Which is 16 for both calipers. The OE NC30 seals cost around 60.00 for a full set from DSS.

There a good price but I don't know what the quality would be like.

nothing wrong with the bolt's just thought it would help freshen the look of the calipers up.

Are your's leaking or just stiff? I rebuilt mine a couple of years ago as they dragged like fckers. I thought it would need seals but I ended up just cleaning and reassembling - good as new.

There's some special red grease you can get (check ebay), the other thing to watch for is damage on the way out. Make sure you blow the pistons out with a compressor and don't be tempted to grip with anything...

I have rebuilt two sets of caliper now, a set of 4 pot nissin and a get of 6 pot Tokio.
Once you have the haynes and the right tools it is fine.
I recommend a dentist plaque scraper to get into the caliper grooves and get all the gunk and red rubber grease. That stuff is essential for a good precondition.

I used a dremmel with little firm (not wire) brush attachment shaped like a chimmney sweep. brought mine up a treat

Yes... a fine brass brush can be used to remove corrosion on a low speed setting drill.
