Alright, so I just took off the front pads to inspect everything, and I'm a bit confused.

There's no wear groove so you'd assume they're kaput- but they have at least 3mm left on them. From my Haynes manual it looks like they should go down further than that, so I'm unsure. Maybe I've got some cheapo pads that don't come with a wear groove?
