Guys,

Maybe somebody can explain me or send a link to article/topic. I saw some guys fit HRC wiring loom. Personally never saw this "magic things", but what it the beneficial to use it. And how? Why I can't use PowerComander instead?

power commander is a computer that runs your ECU/CDI to change fuel/air mixtures = more BHP, better performance. idea is to hook them in to a laptop with certain software and tweak the mixtures, upload the information to the box on the bike and its done.
only one problem..... our bikes are old and dont have computer run carburettors.
now i maybe wrong and there is a PC for CBRs?
maybe better to buy a HRC CDI unit?

HRC loom, they have less on them as they are designed to be fitted to track/race bikes. these bikes often have a lot removed to make them lighter to race. the loom reflects the missing items. dont know anyone whos fitted one to a road/commuting going bike.

The hrc loom doesn't have a start or charge circuit, only for use with a total loss charging system. Not much good for the road!

As has been said - less cables on them - due to not running road bits.
Also - seporate loom for charging if you want to run the alternator.

Main difference - it is desiged to run on the HRC ECU - 1 cable on a different pin location - or the bike won't run.

which is easily rectified on a std loom by moving the pin, as stated the HRC loom has no starter of charger circuit or any provision for lights etc..power comanders I believe are only for use with bikes with F.I

very rare and very exspensive, even if you find one you will be looking at the heavy side of £250

I have one for sale, email me if interested.
