vfr - rvf riser

Hi
Got everything in place, 17 inch wheel - riser, sticky tyres but.....

which way up does the riser go to put it plainly smiley or sad face, answer in pics would be great

Nice one
Its what some people call the dog or dog jaw that sits at the bottom of the suspension linkage and when you change from 18 inch to 17 inch rear wheel the part needs to be replaced with the part off the RVF.
The issue is that it can be fitted both waysand as it is a curved - crescent about 20cm long the analogy of smiley or sad applies to indciate which way up does it fit to gte the correct ride height, honda calll it the linkage pivot strut I think.

Aha!

Just went and checked my bikes and it sits with the curved face on the bottom, probably for more exhaust clearance. Hope that helps.
