Please could someone take a picture of their clutch cable routing from the clutch lever, around the headstock and just over the top of the radiator.
The routing i have at the minute seems to be a little to tight to be the correct routing.
Thanks Karl :)

if you had followed my suggestions on how to remove cabled from your bike with a simple bit of string/rope.. you'd be ok.

for future ref....
tie a 3meter bit of strong string around one end of the cable while its still in the bike.
pull the cable from the other end leaving the string in its place.
undo the string from cable and tie on to relevant end of new cable
use the string to pull the new cable back in to place..

done.

LP - not the most helpfull responce.

As I remember from the clutch leaver - it passes between the headstock & the inside of the RH fork (if you are sitting on seat - looking forward)
Over the top of the rad, over the top of the front upper engine mounting bolt, under the middle engine mounting bolt - to the mounting point on the case.

Hope this helps

Ta LP but that was no help at all as i took the whole of the bike apart and used another frame so it may have to be one hell of a long piece of string to go from one frame to another.

Chrisja2 its an NC29 thankyou and it would be great if you could take a photo :D

chrisja2 your a star, thankyou :)
Just trying to move the bike around has the cable rubbing on the bracket at the top of the rad and making one heck of an un-nerving squeaking rubbing sound. The cable hasnt been shortened, I wonder if a bracket could be missing :?

To be honest mate my cable makes the same rubbing noise, its even worse when its in its road fairing clothes with the internal bit of plastic that fits on the inner fairing! wd40 or any silicon based spray makes it move easier over that little bracket on the rad.
