RVF carbs on a NC30

Can anyone help please,
I have a NC30 which is used for the road and track and i have recently acquired a set of RVF carbs, being a flatslide carb although slightly smaller, is it possible to get the RVF carbs dyno'd to perform better than the NC30 carbs ?
It will be running a full Two Bro's system
Thanks

35 carbs will give you better midrange as there slightly more advanced but for all out power use 30 carbs. A lot of peeps use 35 carbs on their road going 30's but im pretty certain there not flatslides.

Think they are still CV carbs, not proper flatslides

Yes they are CV's, sometimes referred to as 'semi-flatslides' although nothing really like proper flatslides...

I think the rvf carbs are much better for a roadbike and vfr carbs are slightly better for the track. You'll need rvf throttle cable/s, all the other nc30 parts will be fine to bolt up to the rvf carbs.

I think rvf carbs are superior in most regards for a number of reasons. However, for outright power (which realistically is not important for 99% of us and is at the expense of other running conditions) the nc30 carbs rule.

Personally I prefer the nc30 carbs but they can be a bit more troublesome (age & condition, poorer low rev fuelling, harder to tune etc).

My 2c. :peace:

These are flatslide carbs on an rvf:

Thanks guys,
Unfortunately i was hoping that if the RVF carbs were dyno'ed properly i would benefit from the better midrange but hopefully just match the top end of the NC30 carbs. I was'nt looking for them to be any better at the top end, just no worse.
Thanks again

No more info mate, but Mr Mruhel used to have some on his track bike (that pic might even be his bike, can't remember?).

There's a set on yahoo for an RC30 right now - lush!
